Job summary

MobilexUSA is seeking a dedicated claims processor to prepare, edit, and submit claims with accuracy and timeliness according to payer contracts. You will access client files and payer sites to verify information and respond promptly to inquiries about claim status.

You will manage claim queues, follow up for cash resolution, and communicate daily with insurance carriers to resolve payment issues. A home workspace with high-speed internet is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Typing speed of 35 wpm or faster preferred.
• Prior experience with claims processing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, edit and ensure all claims are submitted accurately and timely per payer contract and guidelines.
• Access client files and payer websites to verify information.
• Provide timely responses to written inquiries regarding claim/account status.
• Manage claim assignments and ensure follow up for cash resolution; escalate compliance or payer trends as needed.
• Contact insurance carriers daily for claim status and patient information; determine reasons for underpayment or non-payment.
• Complete all assignments according to schedule.
• Maintain daily, weekly and monthly productivity and quality goals.
• Identify/resolve claim or payer issues as they occur.
• Perform other tasks to support organizational goals.
• Require high speed internet at home and dedicated workspace.
