Casella Waste Systems, Inc. is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to provide excellent customer service while handling billing and collections, building relationships, and ensuring timely payments.

You will manage a portfolio of customers, communicate via phone, email, and portals, document interactions, and adhere to procedures to deliver consistent customer experiences. On-site role in Rutland, VT with focus on teamwork and MS Office proficiency.

Formación

• 0-2 years of accounting or related experience.
• Associate's degree in accounting or finance or equivalent experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications and Excel required.
• On-site in Rutland, VT and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.

Responsabilidades

• Implements collection processes for past due accounts using Casella systems.
• Documents all communications to ensure proper transmission of interactions.
• Assesses critical information to determine the best course of action while retaining the customer.
• Manages a portfolio of customers by phone, fax, email and portals regarding balances.
• Engages in active listening to resolve questions and concerns with customers.
• Explains solutions clearly and ensures customers feel supported and valued.
• Adheres to departmental procedures to provide consistent customer experiences.
• Acts as a liaison between customers and other departments to mitigate credit risk.
• Participates in training and other opportunities to expand knowledge and skills.
