Overview

Our client, a leading organization in finance and accounts management, is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their team. As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will be part of the Finance Department supporting the Accounts Receivable team. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Details

Job Title: Accounts Receivable
Location: Somerset, NJ
Pay Range: $25.00 per hour
Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Responsibilities
  • Process and post customer invoices accurately and promptly to ensure complete records.
  • Apply payments and remittances to customer accounts, reconciling discrepancies as needed.
  • Prepare journal entries to support month-end closing activities and generate relevant reports.
  • Review credit reports for existing and potential customers to assess creditworthiness.
  • Collaborate with sales and support teams to address delinquent accounts and resolve invoice disputes.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable or similar finance roles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills with high accuracy in record keeping.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work collaboratively.
