Job summary

Providence is hiring an Accounts Receivable Representative for a remote role focused on billing and collections across payer networks. You will handle submissions, monitor aging, resolve denials, and work closely with the Revenue Cycle team to ensure accuracy and timely cash flow.

Strong knowledge of insurance contracts and reimbursement is required. Minimum of 2 years in healthcare billing, with preference for EPIC experience and courses in medical front office billing.

• 2+ years of experience in a healthcare environment with focus on reimbursement and collections.
• Experience with insurance contracts and Medicare/Medicaid regulations.

Responsibilities

• Bill and collect payments from insurance carriers and other payers for services.
• Ensure timely and accurate billing for Providence Home and Community Care Services.
• Support subacute service lines with skilled nursing billing where applicable.

Accounts Receivable Representative - Remote

This position is responsible for the timely and accurate billing and collections of payments from insurance carriers, agencies and others for services provided by Providence Home and Community Care Services which could include the following service lines with a focus on skilled nursing billing and collections for our subacute services. Required Qualifications

• 2 or more years recent experience in a healthcare environment with an emphasis on reimbursement and collections.
• Experience with insurance contracts and/or Medicare/Medicaid Regulations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Coursework/Training: College level courses in medical front office/medical billing.
• EPIC experience is preferred
