Cintas Corporation is seeking an Accounts Receivable Representative in Davenport, IA. You will manage accounts receivable activities for assigned customers and work to collect outstanding balances with professionalism.

You will interact with customers by phone, plan collection actions, and maintain accurate account records while coordinating with internal teams. This role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential information properly.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of collections experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally to achieve collection goals.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and intranet/internet.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts receivable functions and track assigned accounts.
• Plan actions to recover outstanding payments.
• Make heavy calls to customers to collect payments.
• Contact debtors regarding payment status.
• Negotiate payoff deadlines or payment plans.
• Investigate discrepancies and update account status.
• Alert supervisors about difficult collections and potential non-payers.
• Ensure compliance and proper handling when legal action is unavoidable.

Job Description

Cintas is seeking an Accounts Receivable Representative. Responsibilities include all accounts receivable related functions, including keeping track of assigned accounts to identify outstanding debts; planning course of action to recover outstanding payments; heavy phone activity with customers; locating and contacting debtors regarding payment status; negotiating payoff deadlines or payment plans; handling questions or complaints; investigating and resolving discrepancies; establishing good relationships with customers; updating account status and database regularly; alerting supervisors of customers unwilling or unable to pay outstanding amounts; complying with requirements when legal action is unavoidable.

Skills/Qualifications

Required

• High School Diploma/GED
• 2+ years' collections experience
• Ability to use confidential information in a professional manner to achieve collections targets/goals
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office ( Excel,Word, Outlook) and intranet/internet

Preferred

• A ccuracy and attention to detail
• Excellent internal and external customer service skills
• Experience with SAP and AS400
