Job Description
This key role is part of the Global Process Owner (GPO) team in Oracle’s Order to Cash (O2C) organization. The GPO team provides strategic direction, project leadership and process design in a dynamic and fast‑paced environment. The primary responsibilities of this role are project management and process support of global eInvoicing deployments at Oracle. This person will also be called upon as a GPO team leader to support additional A/R initiatives, including process improvements, system enhancements and large‑scale upgrades. The highly skilled candidate will apply international business experience while leading and managing projects in compliance with statutory regulations and Oracle policies. Solutions are developed in partnership with internal and external resources working across multiple eCommerce platforms and strategies. The Project Manager has end‑to‑end ownership from concept through delivery and stabilization. They will collaborate across functions with Finance, Tax, IT, GPOs, external vendors, and others as needed.
This candidate has an eCommerce or technical background in Receivables (preferred), Procurement, or Payables. They have experience applying statutory guidelines within their project management, as well as mapping ERP system fields to inbound or outbound data files in various electronic languages such as EDI or XML. The candidate is able to apply the concepts of global standards and processes. They demonstrate an understanding of the Quote‑to‑Cash lifecycle and of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). The ideal candidate also has experience with Oracle Financials on Cloud and/or Oracle eBusiness Suite.
Responsibilities
- Discovery based on project summary, including all scope and technical requirement details
- Investigate statutory regulations and legislation using a wide array of resources
- Clearly communicate and plan readiness for complex eInvoicing requirements
- Take ownership of assigned projects from planning and discovery, testing and deployment through post‑go‑live stabilization, operational support, and process improvement
- Log bugs and enhancements timely to close requirement gaps
- Manage vendor deliverables
- Delegate to project team with clearly defined responsibility and authority to keep the project on track
- Anticipate problems and obstacles before they arise and plan accordingly
- Escalate all risks in a timely and effective manner
- Ensure project milestones are executed according to budget and schedule
- Deliver project stakeholder updates at scheduled intervals
- Effectively prioritize workload while overseeing multiple critical projects simultaneously
- Manage new statutory projects and updates to existing deployments concurrently
- Manage / participate in other A/R projects and initiatives as needed
- Back‑up manager and/or support team members as required
- Participate in non‑O2C projects as designated
Qualifications and Experience
- Eight years of project leadership/management
- Creation of test scripts and test management
- Experience in mapping system fields and functions to external electronic or flat file formats
- Experience in Accounts Receivable, Procurement or Payables
- Demonstrated background in delivering measurable process improvements
- Experience working with various electronic languages and communication protocols
- Experience with large‑scale ERP system(s) – preferably Oracle Financials and/or Oracle eBusiness Suite
- Very strong MS Office skills including Excel, Word, Visio flowcharts and PowerPoint presentations
- Expert problem solving and analytical skills, with exceptional attention to detail
- Extremely organized with ability to rapidly learn and retain complex theories and apply situationally as warranted
- Excellent follow‑through and timely responsiveness
- Lead change agility and adaptability through example

- BA/BS or equivalent experience in related fields

- Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non‑overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

Salary Range
US: Hiring Range in USD from: $87,700 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
