Overview

Tecovas is looking for an Accounts Receivable Manager to lead our Accounts Receivable (AR) Department. Reporting directly to the VP, Accounting, you will help scale the AR function to support growth in Wholesale and Corporate Sales, with a focus on simplification and automation of existing processes. This role is based in Austin, TX; candidates must be currently located in or willing to relocate to Austin, TX.

Responsibilities

• Lead the AR department, including mentoring one direct report
• Maintain customer communications with wholesale and corporate sales customers
• Process invoices for all wholesale and corporate sale accounts, via EDI and non-EDI methods
• Review customer payment application within Versapay and NetSuite
• Support new customer setup and credit check process
• Maintain cross-functional partnerships with the Wholesale, Operations, Finance, & Accounting teams
• Prepare necessary month-end reports as required by management
• Monitor and improve AR metrics, such as AR Aging, Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), and Bad Debt
• Assist with annual audit requests

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or a related field
• 5-10 years of experience in an AR department, with at least 3 in a leadership role
• Familiarity with NetSuite and Versapay is preferred but not required
• Proficiency in Excel
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
