Job summary

Black Desert Resort in Southern Utah seeks an Accounts Receivable Manager to lead the AR function, oversee billing, collections, and aging management, and ensure accurate invoicing for groups, events, and ownership charges.

This role partners with Finance, Sales, Conference Services, Food & Beverage, Rooms, Ownership, and operations to protect cash flow and improve collection efficiency, while maintaining high service standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years in accounts receivable, billing, collections or finance.
• Hospitality, resort, convention, or club billing experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of aging, collections and recovery processes.
• Experience with group, event, or master account billing is a plus.
• Proficient in Excel and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily accounts receivable function for the property.
• Minimize aged receivables through proactive follow-up and clear communication.
• Maximize cash collections while supporting sales, group, convention, and event business.
• Ensure accurate and timely billing for groups, events, meetings, weddings, and contracts.
• Review and reconcile group/event billing, deposits, adjustments, and related charges.
• Collaborate with Sales, Conference Services, Banquets, F&B, Rooms, and Finance to resolve billing questions.
• Improve billing cycle times and streamline internal workflows.
• Develop consistent collection follow-up processes and reporting standards.
• Automate AR reporting and monitor aging/open folios and collection status.
• Support month-end close and audits with AR balances and documentation.
• Maintain internal controls over billing, adjustments, and collections.
