Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement accounting practices and procedures.
• Oversee management of processes including fixed assets and accounting for joint ventures.
• Ensure strong controls and compliance with AER policies.
• May include people management responsibilities.
• Manage elements of the monthly accounting close process including ensuring accurate and timely US GAAP/local GAAP reporting, balance sheet reconciliations and KPIs.
• Provide insights into balance sheet movements and cash flow; support implementation of process change projects.
• Ensure strong controls and compliance with AER policies in the area of scope.
• Coordinate accounting services and integrate them with operating needs.
• Provide and interpret data from accounting records as needed.
• Lead projects to harmonize, improve efficiency, and drive changes to AER processes and systems; foster continuous improvement.
• Lead implementation efforts on new accounting guidance.
• Contribute to a high-performing Finance team and invest in the development of Finance peers.

Responsibilities

• You will develop and implement accounting practices and procedures.
• You will provide and interpret data from accounting records and coordinate accounting services and integrate them with operating needs.
• Oversee the management of processes such as fixed assets, leases, intercompany cross charges, new accounting rules, restructuring programs, and accounting for joint ventures.
• May include people management responsibilities.
• Manage elements of the monthly accounting close process including ensuring accurate and timely US GAAP/local GAAP reporting, balance sheet reconciliations and KPIs.
• Provide insights into balance sheet movements and cash flow; support implementation of process change projects.
• Ensure strong controls and compliance with AER policies in the area of scope.
