UniFirst First Aid + Safety is seeking a reliable and hardworking Accounts Receivable Clerk Team Lead to join our team. As a Team Partner in the Accounts Receivable Department, you will be responsible for monitoring day-to-day activities associated with supporting the success of the Accounts Receivable department and working closely with other department supervisors and management. Our standard is a 5-day work week, enjoy two days off a week. We have an immediate opening and provide on-the-job training.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Reconcile daily bank deposits.
  • Assist with accounts receivable and incoming payment research.
  • Ensure the timely and accurate posting of all customer payments.
  • Assist with customer vendor form requests and submission.
  • Train A/R clerks with the accounts receivable process including, but not limited to: deposits, customer portals, customer invoice submission, refund and write-off processes, etc.
  • Assist with customer portal resolution.
  • Monitor and assist with resolutions of all inquiries to the Account Receivables inbox.
  • Assist with posting applies and write-offs to the applicable customer accounts.
  • Research and assist with resolution of invoice payment shortages.
  • Perform additional tasks and functions as required.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for:

  • High school diploma is required.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Experience and adaptability to computer software (i.e., Word, Excel, 10-key, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Sage 100 is preferred.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail to provide accuracy of work.
  • Motivated self-starter, flexible, high sense of urgency.
  • Ability to communicate professionally via phone calls.
  • Ability to lift up to 10 lbs.
