Job summary

Life Care Centers of America seeks an Accounting Clerk (Accounts Receivable) to manage billing, payments, and data handling within a health-care setting. The role emphasizes accuracy, compliance, and timely cash flow for the facility.

You will prepare Medicare A & B and private insurance billing, record receipts, and maintain confidentiality while supporting an interdisciplinary team and delivering strong customer service to patients and vendors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior bookkeeping experience preferred
• Data entry experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit all billing (Medicare A & B, private insurance) accurately and in a timely manner
• Record cash receipts accurately and timely
• Accurately prepare bank deposits
• Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients
• Assist in the evacuation of patients
• Demonstrate dependable, regular attendance
• Concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgment
• Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team
• Sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, stoop, walk, reach, and move intermittently during working hours
• Read, write, speak, and understand the English language
• Lift 20 lbs floor to waist, lift 20 lbs waist to shoulder, lift and carry 20 lbs, and push/pull 20 lbs
