Job summary

The Lehigh Northampton Airport Authority is seeking an Accounting Clerk to manage airline billings, monthly reports, and account reconciliations. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, strong analytical and communication skills, and experience in Accounts Receivable. This role also includes assisting with audits and developing departmental documentation.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of Accounts Receivable experience.
  • Comfortable working with a variety of computer software applications.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.

  • Prepare and send monthly airline and end-of-month billings.
  • Complete monthly reports and account reconciliations.

Major Responsibilities

  • Prepare and send monthly airline and end-of-month billings
  • Complete monthly reports and account reconciliations
  • Assist with the gathering information for annual audit
  • Update and develop departmental documentation of accounts receivable procedures
  • Cross train for other critical accounting functions
  • Other projects or responsibilities as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 1 year of Accounts Receivable experience.
  • Must possess strong analytical skills.
  • Comfortable working with a variety of computer software applications.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Personal Effectiveness/Credibility.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently within a team environment, using own initiative and problem-solving skills.

Physical Requirements

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to talk or hear. The employee is required to sit for long periods of time and use hands and fingers.
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.
