Job description

Pay: $20 per hour

Position Summary

At Great Wolf, the Accounts Receivable Associate services multiple resort properties. Responsibilities include group sales billings and handling collections for both transient and group guests.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  1. Prepare and issue group sales billing invoices and reconcile account statements in a timely manner.
  2. Apply billing payments received from guests, reconcile folio accounts, and research balances.
  3. Respond to inquiries related to group folio accounts.
  4. Manage relationships with Collections Agency, including reconciliation of cases.
  5. Confirm events, postings, and documents for mathematical accuracy and proper coding.
  6. Organize, secure, and maintain all files, records, cash, and cash equivalents in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  7. Provide accounting and other support to the Lodge Director of Finance, as required.
Basic Qualifications & Skills:
  1. High school diploma or equivalent required.
  2. Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  3. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  4. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and other financial systems.
  5. Flexibility regarding scheduling based on business demands.
  6. Successful completion of criminal background check and drug screening.
Desired Qualifications & Traits:
  1. Bachelor's or Associate's degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
  2. At least 1 year of experience in theme park or hospitality industry preferred.
  3. Experience with Opera and/or Sun Accounting system preferred.
  4. Attention to detail.
  5. Enthusiastic and energetic.
  6. Ability to multitask.
  7. Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
Physical Requirements:
  1. Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
  2. Ability to bend, stretch, and twist.
  3. Ability to stand or sit for long periods.
