Job summary

Movado Group, Inc. is seeking an organized Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our new AR team in Mexico. You’ll be part of an international function supporting Mexico, Latin America and the Caribbean ensuring accurate billing, timely payments, and excellent customer service.

This role offers executional responsibility for the territory, with collaboration across Finance, Sales and Customer Operations to deliver strong financial processes and service to customers worldwide.

Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication skills in English and Spanish.
  • Intermediate Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (SAP or similar).
  • Eager to learn and develop in an international finance environment.

Responsibilities

  • Be the primary customer contact for outstanding invoices, reconcile accounts, ensure correct cash application, and manage daily AR transactions.
  • Support collection activities - following up on overdue payments and resolving customer queries.
  • Review customer credit deductions for accuracy, validity, documentation, and duplication and create credit memos in our ERP system.
  • Interface and communicate directly with customers via electronic, portal or direct communication (phone, online meetings) as required.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and documentation in our AR systems.
  • Work closely with colleagues in Finance, Sales, and Customer Operations to ensure smooth operations.
  • Support the team with reporting and process improvements.
