About the role

As a Senior Accounts Receivable Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in our financial operations. You will manage receivables, collections, and ensure timely payments, all while preparing customer statements. Your expertise in teamwork and customer interaction will be crucial to your success in this role.

You will collaborate closely with our Accounts Receivable team in Lisbon, ensuring smooth financial operations for the South Iberian Region.

What You Will Do

  • Invoicing and timely payment facilitation: Ensure invoices are promptly sent to facilitate timely payment processes. Track outstanding payments and communicate with customers to remind them of their obligations.

  • Monitoring and collecting payments: Regularly review accounts to identify overdue payments. Address payment-related issues and reconcile account discrepancies.

  • Handling Claims:Manage and resolve claims related to financial transactions and customer accounts.

  • Maintaining customer relationships: Be the go-to person for customers with payment questions. Collaborate with sales and customer service to sort out any issues and keep the payment process running smoothly.

  • Reporting and analysis: Generate reports and statements for internal use, providing insights into payment trends and outstanding balances.

Who You Are

  • You hold a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Management.

  • You have solid experience in Accounts Receivable or Collections.

  • You have knowledge of SAP (Finance Module or Analytics), Electronic Banking Software tools, and Office 365.

  • You are a team player, you thrive in a collaborative environment and love working with others.

  • Your keen eye for detail ensures everything runs smoothly and efficiently.

  • You build strong relationships and genuinely enjoy interacting with clients.

  • You anticipate challenges and tackle them head-on.

  • You keep track of tasks and responsibilities effortlessly.

  • You are flexible and quick to adapt to new systems and methods.

  • You speak English and Spanish fluently, both written and spoken.
