The Position:
FanDuel Sports Network is looking for an Accounts Payable Vendor Specialist to join the Shared Services team. Reporting to the Director, Accounts Payable Operations, you will oversee all aspects of vendor onboarding, compliance, and relationship management to ensure seamless accounts payable operations. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to maintain accurate vendor records, streamline processes, and uphold high standards of vendor engagement.

This role will be hybrid and based in the New York City, NY or Southport, CT office.

The Game Plan:
(What you will do)

• Oversee the end-to-end vendor onboarding process, including collecting and verifying required documentation, setting up vendor profiles in the system, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for vendor inquiries related to onboarding, payment status, and account updates.
• Regularly review and update vendor records, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with internal departments, such as Procurement and Accounting, to resolve discrepancies, escalate concerns, and ensure timely processing of payments.
• Analyze and refine the vendor onboarding and management workflow to identify areas for process improvement and automation.
• Monitor vendor relationships to ensure satisfaction and cultivate strong, professional partnerships.
• Assist in the preparation of accounts payable reports, including vendor activity analysis and compliance updates, as requested.
• Maintain confidentiality of vendor and financial information.

The Stats:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field.
• 3+ years of proven experience in accounts payable, vendor management, or procurement.
• Proficiency in accounting software (Workday) and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards related to vendor management and accounts payable.
• Exceptional attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Problem-solving mindset and a commitment to continuous process improvement.

The company is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The compensation range for this position is $80,000 - 90,000. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
