Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) is seeking an Accountant II in the Hospital Financial unit at the San Antonio facility. The role focuses on routine accounts payable tasks and serves as the functional specialist for the Regional Accounting Office, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.

The position involves auditing documents, applying HP/HHSC procurement policies, and coordinating with State Office Accounting, Budget, and vendors.

Competenze

• Experience in accounting and financial operations; payables preferred.
• Experience with computerized accounting or bookkeeping systems.
• Graduation from high school or equivalent.

Mansioni

• Coordinate accounts payable operations and ensure accuracy.
• Prepare complex vouchers and make corrections.
• Audit source documents and verify coding and funding.
