Job summary

Relativity Space in Long Beach, CA is seeking an Accounting/Accounts Payable professional to join our expanding close-knit team. You will review, code, and process invoices, perform three-way matching, and reconcile statements, ensuring tax rates and vendor data are accurate.

Collaboration across departments is key as we scale, and you’ll help drive efficiency. This role requires 1+ year in accounting/finance, ERP experience, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in accounting, finance, or another related field is required.
• Prior experience with ERP systems
• Prior experience with implementing or supporting process improvements
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Ability to communicate effectively at various levels within the organization
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products

Responsibilities

• Review, code, and process invoices in compliance with company policies and procedures
• Perform three-way match between receipt, purchase order (PO), and invoice; collaborate cross functionally to resolve discrepancies
• Ensure accurate application of sales tax rates based on jurisdiction
• Reconcile vendor statements and investigate discrepancies
• Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing vendors
• Identify opportunities for improvement within the current process
• Provide customer service and support to internal and external customers

About the Team:

The Accounting team at Relativity spans tax and compliance, financial operations, general ledger, and business data strategy. While each group brings unique insights, they are united by a shared goal of protecting the financial integrity of Relativity, while also enabling smarter, faster decisions to help the company scale. Hiring Range:

$23.38 - $35.06 USD
