Job summary

Jackson Family Wines is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to support a fast-paced AP function. You will process vendor invoices, wire payments, and support month-end close while maintaining accurate AP records. The role requires 2+ years in high-volume AP, experience with JD Edwards and Concur, and strong Excel skills.

This onsite position is based in Santa Rosa, CA. The AP team handles imaging, electronic routing, and vouchering; the environment emphasizes accuracy, reliability, and timely

Qualifications

• AA Degree preferred.
• 2 years of experience in financial data processing in a high-volume accounts payable setting.
• JD Edwards ERP system and Concur Travel & Expense highly desirable.
• Intermediate Excel skills required.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices and wire/payments, and assist month-end close activities.
• Assist with AP month-end closing and accruals, including account reconciliations and deadlines.
• Audit expense reports and respond to vendor inquiries by email or phone.
• Process invoices in AP Automation system (Review and Verify) and resolve rejections.
• Process mail and review vendor statements; pay invoices on company card.
• Assist with 1099 preparation and weekly check runs.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Accounts Payable Specialist supports a variety of A/P processes including processing of vendor invoices, processTravel & Entertainmentemployeereimbursement, support Purchase Card (P-Card) processes and maintaining accounts payable records to support business operations.

The working environment is fast paced with a variety of invoice documents and supplier types. Our A/PDepartment is fully automated, invoices are imaged through automation software, routed electronically to the buyer for approval and are vouchered by A/P.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES

• Responsible for full-cycle AP, including processing of vendor invoices,wire payments,vendor paymentsand month end close accounting activities
• Assist with AP month end closing and accruals, including AP account reconciliations,meet individualdeadlines andensuredeliverables are met accurately andtimely.
• AuditConcurexpense reports.
• Assistwith Vendor inquiriesvia email andby phone.
• Accurately process invoices in AP Automation system (Review and Verify)

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Essential Skills, Experience, and Education

• Intermediate Excel skillsrequired.
• Experience with setting priorities and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment is essential. Key team member requires daily accuracy and reliability, customer and department support with effective and efficientcommunication skills. Mustbe well-organizedanddetailoriented.
• Ability to work well independently as directed as well as within group.
• This is an onsite job at our Santa Rosa, CA offices, expected to be onsite full time.

WAGE TRANSPARENCY

The base pay for this role ranges from $24.00-$27.00 per hour. Compensation will be determined by candidate experience, skills, and location.
