Job summary

Rothman Orthopaedics in Center City Philadelphia is seeking a full-time Accounts Payable Specialist for a hybrid role requiring three days onsite. You will process invoices, code expenses, and prepare vendor payments in a timely fashion.

The position also involves month-end close prep, tax filings support for PA/NJ, and maintenance of records, with proficiency in Excel and Word and experience with Intaact preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED minimum education requirement.
• Five (5) years related experience required.
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles required.
• Computer skills including Excel and Word required.
• Intaact Accounting software experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Processes and codes all vendor invoices and check requests, matches approved purchase orders to vendor invoices.
• Prepares weekly check runs for payments to vendors.
• Reviews general ledger accounts in preparation for month end.
• Prepares the Accounts Payable financials for each month by reviewing the check register, wire transactions, and deposits.
• Updates the cash flow book as necessary.
• Makes deposits for incoming checks.
• Prepares data for monthly sales & use tax filing for Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
• Reconciles outstanding checks and files unclaimed property reports with various states as required.
• Organizes records for all purchases made on company credit cards.
