Tempus in Chicago is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to support its growing operations. Reporting to the AP Manager, you will handle invoicing duties, post payments, and maintain vendor relations.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of AP experience, strong Excel skills, and a proven analytical, detail-oriented, hands-on mindset. This role offers a competitive salary and full benefits.

Responsabilidades

• Sort, code and match invoices.
• Post transactions to journals, ledgers and other records.
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues.
• Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries.
• Assist with month-end closing (Duplicate invoices, overbilled PO's, verifying service periods for a subsection of vendor types, etc.).
• Provide supporting documentation for audits (when needed).
• Track Credits and resolve any associated issues.

Tempus is looking for a hardworking, ambitious Accounts Payable Specialist to support its growing operations in Chicago. Reporting to the AP Manager, this role will oversee the accounts payable process.

What you'll do:

• Sort, code and match invoices
• Post transactions to journals, ledgers and other records
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
• Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries

CHI: $50,000-$72,000 The expected salary range may vary for other locations. Actual salary may vary based on qualifications and experience.
