Job summary

White Lodging is seeking an Accounts Payable and Receivable team member to support smooth hotel operations by ensuring timely, accurate processing of financial transactions and maintaining critical vendor and customer relationships.

You'll review accounts, reconcile statements, manage billing cycles for guest folios, deposits, and gift cards, and collaborate with hotel teams to resolve inquiries with professionalism and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; accounting coursework is a plus.
• 1+ year of experience in an A/P and A/R role, preferably in hospitality.
• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and financial systems (Excel/Word).
• Excellent organizational skills and eye for detail; ability to handle repetitive tasks.
• Professional communication, both verbal and written, with guests, vendors, and teams.
• Familiarity with front office systems and hotel billing processes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review accounts to ensure they meet corporate guidelines and research duplicates before payments.
• Reconcile vendor statements monthly and attach invoices before signature.
• Maintain and organize reports per retention policies.
• Process transactions including guest ledger transfers, credit card folios, chargebacks, and no-shows.
• Handle guest, group, and vendor inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Prepare and reconcile accounts receivable invoices; manage billing for FIT/tour billings, deposits, and gift cards.
