Base pay range

$21.00/hr - $34.00/hr

Responsible for performing all aspects of the accounts payable at the branch level; completing day-end and month-end processes with a high degree of accuracy; verifying invoices; maintaining a high level of integrity in inventory control systems; monitoring management reports for exceptions; working closely with the branch manager to ensure operational functions are consistently completed; performing other job-related office functions. Requires excellent organizational, communication and accounting skills; cash handling experience; and a valid driver’s license. Accounting degree is preferred but not required. Full Time position with Benefits.

Primary Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable Functions

  • Receive merchandise into the computer system
  • Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documents
  • Consistently pay within terms to qualify for vendor discounts
  • Process branch expense invoices
  • Scan all documents into the computer system

Day-End Functions

  • Balance transactions with receipts
  • Prepare daily cash deposit

Inventory Control Functions

  • Prepare cycle count sheets
  • Enter cycle count data and run variance reports
  • Make stock changes as necessary
  • Track and troubleshoot all special orders

Pay Com/Timecard and Schedule Approvals:

  • Schedule Sales Team with directions from branch manager
  • Work with the Branch Manager to schedule adequate staff to open and close the branch.
  • Staff adequately for Saturday’s hours

Other Duties:

  • Review exception reports
  • Help coordinate the flow of paperwork within the branch
  • Assist in purchasing office supplies
  • Assist in maintaining the office equipment
  • Provide back-up support on multi-line phone system
  • Provide back-up support for invoicing/cashier function
  • Perform any job-related task to achieve the branch’s goals

  • Requires associate degree in accounting or comparable experience

Compensation Package:

  • Starting pay rate: $21.00 -$34.00. Depending on experience
