Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of accounting/finance experience.
• Two years of supervisory experience.
• Intermediate Excel/Word/Outlook skills.
• Ability to design and use electronic tools to improve processes and report data.
• Working knowledge of state regulatory requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Supervise accounts payable team and oversee performance.
• Ensure compliance with SOX, IRS 1099 and internal controls.
• Use metrics to manage team performance and identify improvements.
• Prepare and file sales/use tax returns and 1099 forms.
• Participate in month-end closing and investigate variances.
• Develop and implement processes to gain efficiency and productivity.
• Provide coaching, mentoring, and training to AP staff.
• Lead weekly team huddles and communicate issues to management.
• Maintain strong relationships with internal customers.
