Job summary

Mariana Minerals is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to lead our AP operations and scale a technology-driven procure-to-pay function. You will oversee invoices, three-way matching, vendor management, and internal controls while guiding a high-performing team.

You will collaborate with Procurement, Operations, Treasury, and Finance to optimize processes, drive automation, and improve vendor relationships as we grow across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• Five+ years in accounts payable with leadership experience preferred.
• Experience in asset-intensive industries (mining, manufacturing, energy) is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of procure-to-pay, invoice matching, vendor management, and controls.
• Experience with AP automation tools and OCR technologies is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily processing of vendor invoices across multiple legal entities.
• Ensure invoices are processed accurately and per policy and terms.
• Perform three-way matching of POs, receipts, and invoices.
• Review coding for G/L accounts, departments, projects, and budgets.
• Manage queues and meet service-level targets for processing.
• Coordinate weekly payment proposals with Treasury and vendor relations.
• Oversee vendor onboarding documentation (W-9/8, banking, tax forms).
• Lead AP staff with coaching, performance reviews, and cross-training.
