A growing eCommerce and B2B business, the Sleep Store seeks a detail-oriented Business Administrator to manage accounts payable and inventory in Henderson, Nevada. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and support company growth through effective financial processes.

About the Role:


Joining the Business Administration team, this is a broad role that blends accounts payable, inventory management and logistics coordination responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. You’ll play an essential part in ensuring that products are consistently available for customers, while maintaining smooth financial processes for their growing business.
Hours: Monday – Friday standard business hours
Note: Occasional weekend day to attend baby expo’s (3-4 per year)


Responsibilities:

  • Input and reconcile invoices for incoming stock, services, and consumables.
  • Ensure all invoices and statements are reconciled by the 20th of the month for the payment run.
  • Ensure accurate receipting and stocktake processes.
  • Provide support for financial reporting and forecasting as needed
  • Handle short shipments, supplier credits, and outstanding Purchase Orders.
  • Work closely with suppliers to maintain stock levels and manage purchase orders.
  • Monitor freight charges, under-ticketing charges, and customs costs.
  • Assist with inventory forecasting and reporting to support production schedules.
  • Analyse sales trends and profitability, providing actionable insights.
  • Coordinate with factories and freight forwarders to ensure timely shipments.
  • Work with the Warehouse Manager to oversee incoming goods.
  • Assist with data collection and reporting for Toitu Carbon Zero certification.
  • Monitor sustainability performance and prepare annual reports for audit.

About You:


You’ll be a detail-focused, analytical professional with a passion for numbers and a proactive mindset when it comes to solving problems. You excel in fast-paced, team-driven environments, comfortably juggling multiple tasks without compromising on accuracy. Your experience in accounts payable and inventory management, combined with strong organisational skills, will play a key role in supporting The Sleep Store’s ongoing success. You’ll also share a genuine passion for the company’s mission and what they do!


Experience:
  • End-to-end Accounts Payable experience
  • Intermediate Excel skills
  • Experience in Inventory Management, ensuring accurate stock levels and efficient processes (highly desirable)
  • Experience in the logistics or manufacturing industry (highly desirable)
  • Knowledge of supply chain processes, freight management, and stock flow
  • Excellent attention to detail, a team player, and collaborative mindset
