A well-known government contracting company in Washington, DC, is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist for a 3-month contract opportunity. This role offers a hybrid schedule, providing a balance of remote and in-office work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and verify invoices, ensuring accurate coding and approvals.
  • Manage payment processing, including checks, ACH, and wire transfers.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Assist with month-end closing and financial reporting related to AP.
  • Maintain compliance with government contracting regulations and company policies.
  • Work cross-functionally with procurement, accounting, and finance teams.
Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of hands-on AP experience in a high-volume environment.
  • Proficiency with Deltek Costpoint
