Overview

Cordia Resources is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable and Payroll Specialist. The ideal candidate will have a background in the construction industry and be responsible for processing payroll for approximately 120 employees, as well as managing accounts payable functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process and manage payroll for approximately 120 employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Handle accounts payable functions including invoice processing, vendor management, and payment disbursement.
  • Reconcile accounts payable transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.
  • Maintain payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data.
  • Ensure timely and accurate payment of wages, benefits, and deductions.
  • Prepare and file necessary payroll tax returns and reports.
  • Assist with month-end closing activities and prepare necessary reports.
  • Communicate with employees and vendors regarding payroll and accounts payable inquiries.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable and payroll, preferably within the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll laws and regulations.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
