Job summary

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM EST. Target hiring range is $22–$23 per hour, with a broader compensation range of $19.25–$28.50 depending on experience and equity.

Qualifications

• 1 year minimum of remote work experience is required.
• 1–2 years of Accounts Payable or related financial operations experience.
• Strong proficiency with Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Customer service mindset and ability to build vendor relationships.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned store locations, vendor accounts, and invoice queues to ensure timely payment.
• Review and update invoice information in compliance with policies.
• Reconcile vendor statements and investigate discrepancies.
• Resolve payment allocation issues and maintain positive vendor relationships.
• Monitor critical service invoices to prevent operation delays.
• Communicate workload and process improvement ideas to leadership.

Join our Accounts Payable team and play a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely payments across our organization. In this position, you'll manage invoice processing, support vendor relationships, resolve payment issues, and contribute to process improvements that keep our business running smoothly.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, managing multiple priorities, and delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned store locations, vendor accounts, and invoice queues to ensure invoices are processed and paid on time.
• Review, validate, and update invoice information while maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Reconcile vendor statements and proactively investigate discrepancies, credits, and payment issues.
• Resolve payment allocation issues, account disputes, and outstanding balances to maintain positive vendor relationships.
• Monitor and prioritize critical service invoices to ensure uninterrupted business operations.
• Communicate workload challenges, unusual items, and process improvement recommendations to leadership.
• Support department projects and other business initiatives as assigned.

Qualifications

• Prior experience working remote, required (1 year minimum)
• ~1-2 years of Accounts Payable, accounting, bookkeeping, or related financial operations experience.
• ~ Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• ~ A customer-service mindset with the ability to build strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.
• ~ Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred.

The full compensation range for this position is $19.25–$28.50/hr, reflecting the earning potential and growth opportunities available within the role. Final pay decisions are made through the interview process and in accordance with applicable pay equity and transparency laws.
