Job summary

Samsung Electronics America, Inc. is seeking an Accounts Payable professional to manage expense approvals, assist with month-end closing, and support cross-department projects. The role requires SAP experience, strong analytical skills, and meticulous attention to detail.

Ideal candidates will have 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience, proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, and the ability to use AI tools to streamline reporting and tasks within the AP team.

Responsibilities

  • Approve/Reject Expenses per policy.
  • Support month end closing with SEA departments.
  • Project management to meet deadlines and coordinate with corporate teams.
  • Prepare materials in Word, Excel, PowerPoint; use AI tools as needed.
  • Assist in reporting for risk management items.
  • Support team on project tasks.

Role and Responsibilities
  • Approve/Reject Expenses in accordance with company policy
  • Support month end closing in collaboration with other SEA departments and subsidiaries
  • Project management ability; meet time sensitive deadlines and communicate with other corporate departments
  • Assist in preparing materials such as Word, Excel, and Power Point and/or using AI tools to be presented within and outside of AP team
  • Assist in reporting for risk management items
  • Assist team members for all project related tasks
Skills and Qualifications

Background/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field required.
  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience in the job offered or similar related field
  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP system preferred
