This role is responsible for supporting the accounting department by ensuring vendor payments, employee reimbursements, and accounts payable transactions are processed accurately and efficiently.

Accounts Payable Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Prepare and process payments, including checks, electronic transfers, and ACH payments.
• Review and process employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Reimburse employees for approved expenses in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor records, including contact information and payment terms.
• Prepare and generate accounts payable reports as needed for management and auditing purposes.
• Verify validity of account discrepancies and resolve any billing issues by communicating effectively both internally and externally.
• Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department.
