Job summary

Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress in Orlando, FL seeks an accounting/finance professional to manage daily operations, ensure compliance, and drive financial analysis. The role supports cost control and strategic decision-making within hotel finance.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Finance or Accounting and at least 2 years in accounting or finance, with strong Excel and ERP software experience. This on-site position offers growth within a hospitality finance team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of accounting or finance experience.
• Strong proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Hospitality/ hotel finance experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Daily Operations: Manage AP/AR, cash and bank reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Compliance & Audits: Ensure statutory compliance, handle tax filings, and support audits.
• Analysis: Analyze financial data, identify cost-saving opportunities, and support management decisions.
• Systems & Processes: Implement and maintain accounting systems, ensuring data accuracy and process efficiency.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication skills are necessary.
• Hotel finance experience is an advantage.
