We are looking for an Accounts Assistant Apprentice to join the team in Hull. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain an apprenticeship qualification whilst gaining real life experience of working within a Finance environment.

It is an excellent opportunity for someone who has a genuine passion for a role within Finance. The main duties/key responsibilities of this role are;

• To help maintain accurate financial records and documentation

• Supporting with the management of the fixed asset register and all related journal entries

• Maintenance of general ledger including monthly journal entries and accruals prepayments. Verifying account balances match to individual transactions.

• Supporting the Finance management team with month end reporting and requirements

• Providing information to internal and external auditors as and when required

• Payroll Reconciliations - ensuring payroll records match with financial records

• Working with other departments to ensure financial accuracy

The successful candidate will have (or predicted) GCSE qualifications in Maths and English (Grade 4/C or above).
