We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting, Treasury & FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) Analyst to join our finance team. This hybrid role combines core accounting, banking and treasury activities, and financial planning and analysis, giving you hands‑on exposure to how the numbers are created and how they are used to drive business decisions. You will support the month‑end close, help manage the company’s cash position, maintain the accuracy of day‑to‑day accounting records, and use that knowledge to help with forecasting, budgeting, and the analysis of business performance.

Key Responsibilities:
Accounting Support
  • General Accounting & Month-End Close: Prepare and record journal entries, accruals, and adjustments; assist with the monthly close checklist and help meet close deadlines.
  • Account Reconciliations: Reconcile balance sheet accounts (such as prepaid expenses, accruals, and intercompany balances) and research and resolve variances.
  • AP/AR & Cash Support: Provide backup support for accounts payable and accounts receivable, including coding and reviewing invoices, applying payments, and answering vendor, customer, and internal inquiries.
Banking & Treasury
  • Banking & Cash Management: Monitor daily bank activity and cash positions; perform bank reconciliations; assist with payment processing, wires, and ACH activity
  • 13-Week Cash Flow Forecast: Maintain the rolling 13-week cash forecast; compare actual cash results to forecast; and communicate liquidity trends, risks, and funding needs to finance leadership.
Financial Planning & Analysis
  • Financial Planning & Analysis Support: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. This includes managing an advanced Excel workbook that rolls up the company’s financial numbers to a company-wide view each month.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze financial data and provide insights into business performance by comparing actual results to budget and forecast. Help prepare ad-hoc reports for senior management as needed.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in developing and maintaining financial models and help the team with the annual budgeting process and quarterly forecasts.
  • Cost & Revenue Analysis: Track key financial metrics, identify trends in costs and revenues, and highlight areas for improvement.
Business Partnership & Improvement
  • Collaboration with Business Units: Work with different departments to gather data, clarify assumptions, and assist in decision-making related to financial performance.
  • Process Improvement: Contribute to the enhancement of accounting and financial processes, tools, and systems to improve efficiency and accuracy in close, reporting, and analysis.
  • Cross-functional Projects: Support ad-hoc financial analysis for various projects as needed, including new product initiatives, cost-saving projects, and investments.
Requirements
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum three years of experience in accounting, FP&A, or finance, including exposure to month-end close, reconciliations, journal entries, and cash management or cash forecasting.
  • Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, etc.). Working knowledge of general accounting principles (GAAP) and debits and credits, and ability to build cash flow forecasts in Excel. Experience with an ERP or accounting system is a plus.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and present findings in a clear and concise manner.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with various teams across the organization.
  • Attention to Detail: High degree of accuracy in working with numbers, reconciliations, and financial analysis.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, especially during month-end close, while managing multiple priorities.
