Job summary

Koch Inc. in Wichita, KS seeks an experienced Accounting Manager to lead the accounting and cash teams, driving continuous improvement and transformation.

The role partners with cross-functional teams to enable sound executive decision-making and strong financial stewardship. Ideal candidates will have leadership experience in accounting/finance, expertise in analytics and data-driven insights, and a background in process optimization.

Qualifications

• Experience in an Accounting or Finance leadership role with knowledge of financial accounting principles, GL, month-end close, reconciliations, and internal controls.
• Leadership experience developing others, driving transformation, and leading initiatives.
• Process and transformation focus with ability to standardize and optimize processes and outputs.
• Proficiency in Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data manipulation).
• Strong communication skills with experience presenting to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the accounting and cash teams to build capability and a culture of continuous improvement.
• Drive finance transformation using analytics, automation, AI, and Copilot to improve processes and controls.
• Partner with senior leaders to provide insights and influence decisions.
• Leverage data to identify trends and deliver financial insights for better decision-making.
• Collaborate across Koch functions on strategic initiatives and value creation.
• Ensure financial stewardship through close processes, balance sheet reviews, reconciliations, and accurate reporting.
• Promote Koch's PBM culture by integrating guiding principles into decisions and partnerships.
