Responsibilities

• Prepares financial data for refunds, invoices, disbursements and deposits.
• Ensures data is complete and accurate for processing.
• Provides routine accounting summaries to supervisor.
• Performs research to identify overpayments or misapplications of funds.
• Resolves routine questions and forwards complex issues.
• Calculates figures for bank deposits, receipts and related items.
• Supports accounting/finance functions including monitoring systems and journal entries.
• Assists less experienced clerks as needed.
• Distributes correspondence regarding monies due or erroneously received.
• Issues refunds as appropriate.
