The NCDAC Support Services Division of Engineering, Construction, and Maintenance (DECM) is seeking an energized and collaborative Accounting Technician II to join the Coastal Region Maintenance Team. This full‑time position is based at the Coastal Region Maintenance Yard in Greenville, NC, and also supports the Piedmont Region Maintenance Team with essential accounting and administrative functions.
Key Responsibilities
This is an on-site, 40‑hour per week role with state benefits. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m., with occasional weekend work as needed.

The Division of Engineering, Construction, and Maintenance (DECM) coordinates all North Carolina Department of Adult Corrections (NCDAC) construction and renovation efforts, working closely with the State Construction Office to bring projects to life. We represent the department on key property and building matters while keeping facilities running smoothly through expert support for mechanical, electrical, kitchen, and other essential systems. Associate degree in accounting from an appropriately accredited institution and one year of accounting experience;
