The Department of General Services, Division of Parking, is seeking an accounting professional to maintain cash, accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing systems, and related documents. Assists in accounting for capital improvement projects. Performs administrative duties. Assist customers. Performs financial duties. Processes transactions and prepares checks for distribution. Assist with inventory control. Enters purchase and pay documents into the City’s financial system.
Work requires knowledge of a specific vocational, administrative, or technical nature which may be obtained with six months/one year of advanced study or training past the high school equivalency. Junior college, vocational, business, technical or correspondence schools are likely sources. Appropriate certification may be awarded upon satisfactory completion of advanced study or training.
