Navy Region Hawaii Fleet and Family Readiness (FFR) is seeking an accounting specialist to manage non-appropriated fund (NAF) accounts and a range of standard accounting documents using SAP.
The role requires specialized accounting experience, strong knowledge of AP processing, and the ability to ensure accuracy and compliance with JTR and CNIC procedures. Candidates must be U.S. citizens and pass background checks.
This position is assigned to the Support Services Office; Fleet & Family Readiness Division, Navy Region Hawaii; CNIC; Non appropriated Fund/ NAF Regional Accounting Office; JBPHH, HI. The primary purpose of this position is to perform a full range of accounting duties related to non-appropriated fund (NAF) accounts and covering a variety of standardized and recurring accounting documents and transactions covering accounting functions.
This position is open to the public, island of Oahu only.

To be qualified for this position, candidates must possess the required specialized experience. Specialized experience is defined as: 2-years specialized experience in the field of accounting. A qualified candidate possesses the following:
An associate's degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or in a field directly related is required.
OR
Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience that provided the applicant with knowledge of one or more of the fields equivalent to an associate's degree in the field.
OR
Experience: Two years of appropriate experience that demonstrated that the applicant has acquired knowledge of one or more of the fields equivalent to an associates degree in the field.
Salary is dependent on experience and/or education.
