Job summary

Sun Tran, Tucson's public transportation system, is seeking an Accounting Technician to support financial accounting records, budgeting and reporting processes.

You will perform routine tasks including journal entries, reconciliations and auditing support, in a detail-oriented environment with deadlines. The role requires Excel proficiency and experience with accounting software, plus at least 6 months post-high school education in accounting or finance and 2 years related experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of post-high school education in accounting, finance or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of directly related accounting or financial experience.
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with financial databases preferred.

ACCOUNTING TECHNICIAN

SALARY: $19.36/hr-$24.20/hr

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Technician to support our organization’s financial accounting records, budgeting and reporting processes. In this role, you’ll perform a variety of routine accounting tasks such as journal entries, reconciliations and providing auditing support.
