The Utah Department of Corrections is seeking an Accounting Technician III for an on-site role in Draper, Utah. The position will prepare and process a variety of accounting documents, support staff, and help ensure accurate financial records.
Typical hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Salary is $20.47 per hour. A strong candidate has at least 1 year of accounting experience and demonstrates attention to detail and effective communication.

The hourly rate is $20.47. Current UDC employees are subject to the Career Ladder.

Risks found in the typical office setting, which is adequately lighted, heated, and ventilated, e.g., safe use of office equipment, avoiding trips and falls, observing fire regulations, etc.

Salary ranges specified reflect a minimum starting and top-of-range dollar amount. The actual rate per hour will be determined by the evaluation of qualifications and skills of the individual and the availability of monies through budget and grants or by following the DHRM rule.
