The Utah Department of Corrections is seeking an Accounting Technician III in Draper, Utah. This full-time, in-office role offers a full benefits package and a structured career ladder. Hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm.

The working hours for this position are Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. This position is currently not eligible for telework + a hybrid teleworking position
The hourly rate is $20.47. Current UDC employees are subject to the Career Ladder.
Risks found in the typical office setting, which is adequately lighted, heated, and ventilated, e.g., safe use of office equipment, avoiding trips and falls, observing fire regulations, etc.
Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to perform the work; however, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying light items; driving an automobile, etc. Special physical demands are not required to perform the work.
NOTE: Department of Human Resource Management rules regarding promotions and transfers apply to current state employees.
Salary ranges specified reflect a minimum starting and top-of-range dollar amount. The actual rate per hour will be determined by the evaluation of qualifications and skills of the individual and the availability of monies through budget and grants or by following the DHRM rule.
Salary will be based on the Career Ladder for current UDC employees.
