Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an Assistant Controller for a manufacturing company in the Tulsa area. The role oversees all accounting activities, leads accounting staff, monitors cash flow, and manages month-end close processes.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and at least 5 years of supervisory experience within a service or manufacturing setting, along with strong Excel skills and excellent communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting activities including general ledger, costing, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and credit.
• Leads, supports and provides day to day guidance of accounting staff members.
• Daily cash monitoring and analysis to ensure proper handling of cash flow.
• Responsible for creating & posting all journal entries and related schedules for month end close.
• Prepare monthly fixed asset depreciation along with additions, disposals and transfers.
• Prepare and consolidate financial statements.
• Complete related management reporting.
• Reconcile all Balance Sheet accounts monthly.
• Interact with banks regarding credit agreements and lines of credit.
• Problem solve any issues that may arise within accounting systems.
