Responsibilities

• Assist with year-end external audits and bank audits.
• Review monthly profit and loss statements.
• Ensure all account reconciliations are performed each period.
• Provide accounting research and guidance as needed for GAAP compliance.

Summary: The Accounting Supervisor assists the Assistant Controller and VP of Accounting, supervises and executes accounting and reporting.

Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration required, 3 to 5 years related accounting experience required and 3 to 5 years supervisory experience preferred. Experience with Microsoft Excel required. Must be able to read and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Must be able to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals, and effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers clients, customers, and the general public. Must be able to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
