PBMares, LLP is seeking a Accounting Intern in Morehead City, NC to support client engagement teams in building tax, assurance, and accounting skills under supervision. You will produce accurate workpapers, learn PBMares-approved technologies including AI-assisted tools with human review, and contribute to engagement efficiency.

Qualifikationen

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Accounting; rising junior or senior.
• On track to meet CPA exam eligibility.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel).
• Reliable transportation for client site visits.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Support engagement teams in delivering timely, accurate work that meets client expectations.
• Observe client meetings to learn professional communication and client service standards.
• Prepare clear, well-organized workpapers for engagement execution.
• Apply knowledge of tax, accounting principles, and auditing standards under supervision.
• Assist with evaluating internal controls and identifying issues with guidance.
