Job summary

Doosan Bobcat is offering a co-op/internship in accounting for students pursuing finance or accounting degrees in North Carolina. The role focuses on monthly management reporting, reconciliations, journal entries, and ad hoc analyses using Oracle and BPC.

You will gain hands-on experience with balance sheet maintenance, chart of accounts mapping, and intercompany reconciliation while developing strong technical and communication skills in a team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, or Senior standing seeking a degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration with Finance/Accounting Concentration Science or equivalent
Attention to detail
Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
Team player, fast learner, and adaptable to change
Excellent interpersonal and communications skills is a must
A self-starter who will dig into problems independently and look for limited guidance
Able to commit to Doosan Bobcat for the entire term of the co-op (8 months) or internship (4 months)
Basic computer skills
Ability to follow written instructions

Responsibilities

Create, document, and maintain monthly management reports
Improve and maintain balance sheet reconciliations for multiple branches
Validate mappings from local ledger to corporate ledger
Perform ad hoc financial analysis and follow up on monthly reporting packages
Complete monthly journal entries using Oracle
Submit month-end financials into BPC and complete BPC-to-Oracle reconciliations
Complete month-end module closes for AR, AP, and Fixed Assets
Reconcile balance sheet accounts throughout the month using Blackline
Assist with chart of accounts processes by adding accounts and mapping in Oracle
