PCL Construction Services, Inc. in Denver, CO, is seeking an Accounting Student for a 3‑month internship in our US Buildings sector. You will handle AR, AP, GL entries, and monthly/annual reporting, while reviewing contracts and managing subcontract documents.

The program offers mentorship, real project exposure, and potential full-time opportunities. Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s program in Accounting or Finance with strong Excel skills and communication, you must be able to work full-time

Qualificações

• Currently enrolled as a full-time student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Finance or related discipline.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially with Excel
• Effective verbal and written communication with project personnel, suppliers, subcontractors and owners
• Accuracy and high level of detail orientation
• Ability to meet required deadlines
• Authorized to work in the US; no visa sponsorship
• Available to work in Denver, CO, full time from May to August
• Employment contingent upon passing a substance abuse test by a third party

Responsabilidades

• Accounts receivable: create and enter monthly pay applications, reconcile billings, etc.
• Accounts payable: ensure proper approval and timely entry of invoices, reconcile statements, etc.
• General Ledger: monthly journal entries
• Reporting: monthly and yearly reporting and business planning
• Review owner contracts to understand payment terms and cost of work
• Subcontract management: track and manage submittal documents and other duties

Join us as aAccounting Studentfor our Denverdistrict, within our US Buildings sector for 3 months. Youwill have the opportunity to contribute to our team by:

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled as a full-time student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Finance orrelated discipline.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially with Excel
• Required to effectively communicate verbally and in writing, with project personnel, suppliers, subcontractorsand owners
• Accuracy and high level of detail orientation
• Ability to meet required deadlines
• Must be authorized to work in the US *PCL will not sponsor an employment visa (e.g. H1-B, etc.) for this
  position18 years of age or older
• Available to work in Denver, CO, full time from May to August
• Employment with PCL is contingent upon passing a substance abuse test conducted by a third part
