Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an Accounting Specialist for our Sacramento, CA office to support day-to-day financial activities. You will work with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Treasury, and General Accounting to ensure accurate reporting and compliance with internal controls.

The role requires an associate degree in accounting or related field, 1–3 years of accounting experience, and proficiency in Excel and ERP systems. You will help with month-end close, reconciliations, and audit support.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• 1–3 years accounting, bookkeeping, AP/AR, or related financial experience.
• Proficiency in Excel and ERP/accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Process and maintain accounting transactions per policy.
• Assist with recording and reconciling cash and bank activity.
• Prepare and maintain balance sheet and expense account reconciliations.
• Support month-end close with journal entries and documentation.
• Collaborate with AP/AR to resolve discrepancies and code invoices.
• Maintain organized accounting records and respond to audit requests.
