A credit union in Kansas is looking for an Accountant to join their mission-driven team. This role involves performing essential accounting functions including general ledger reconciliations, financial statement preparation, and month-end closing processes. Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in a business field and at least 2 years of experience. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field and 2 years’ experience or 6 years in the field.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.

Responsabilités

• Assist in maintenance of accounting system and provide guidance to all users.
• Maintain fixed assets system and develop reporting for management.
• Prepare financial statements and schedules for regulatory reporting.
• Perform month-end close processes including reconciliations and accruals.
• Develop and maintain accounting procedures to optimize efficiencies.

Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel
