Employment Type:

Full-time (40 hours per week)

Base Hourly:

$20.76

Class/Calendar:

B22,12 months

Benefits:

Performance Pay:

Available annually

New Hire Experience:

1% of the base hourly rate granted for each year of verified like experience (within ten years) beyond the requirement, up to aten-year maximum

New Hire Education:

1% of the base hourly rate awarded for an AA or higher degree if not required for the position

Job Summary:

To perform a variety of financial activities including processing, recording, updating, analyzing, and reconciling fiscal information in conformance with District, State, Federal and USFR guidelines to accurately submit the Medicaid financial reimbursement information and Travel Reimbursement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Submit Medicaid financial information quarterly and annually to the PCG Claiming System
  • Prepare financial information in collaboration with the Special Education, Transportation, and Accounts Payable departments
  • Collect financial information on Medicaid-related activities as needed for Cost-Based reimbursement
  • Ensure financial information submitted is following Medicaid compliance
  • Perform other related duties, as assigned, to ensure the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit
  • Reconcile Visions and PCG cost pool data to ensure accurate Medicaid reimbursement
  • Assists with other assigned duties as appropriate to the area of assignment and Mesa Public Schools
  • Keeping detailed information on all travel-related conferences
  • Maintaining travel tracking system to ensure all travel requests are reviewed in a timely manner
  • Processing and auditing travel documentation to ensure alignment with internal controls and external audit standards
  • Getting estimates and booking flights for all non-student travel
  • Maintaining detailed spreadsheets on all travel reimbursements and airfare

Education :

  • High School education or equivalent
